Absorbable, BRAIDED, purple, antibacterial, synthetic suture, swaged to a very high quality stainless steel needle. For single use.
- Composition: PGLA – copolymer of glycolic acid (90%) and lactic acid (10%); triclosan (antibacterial agent).
- Coating: lactic acid and glycolic acid polymer and calcium stearate.
- Tolerance: very good.
- Smoothness: very high fluidity, coating minimises sawing effect.
- Flexibility: very easy to handle and position the knots.
- Knot security: excellent.
- Tensile strength duration: 14 days (70%).
- Absorption time: 80 days.
- High quality stainless steel needle and swage. Siliconised needle for greater smoothness.
- Indications: multipurpose suture (soft tissue ligation and sutures in general surgery).
- Sterilised with ethylene oxide.
- Packaging: “race track” format ensuring that the suture will unroll without knotting and with less ‘memory’ effect; packed in an individual aluminium pouch with quick, easy opening system.
- Storage: 5 years. Use immediately after opening.
