LACFIL FAST - SWAGED SUTURE NEEDLES
Rapid absorption, BRAIDED, colourless, synthetic thread, swaged to a very high quality stainless steel needle. For single use.
- Composition: PGLA – copolymer of glycolic acid (90%) and lactic acid (10%).
- Coating: lactic acid and glycolic acid polymer and calcium stearate.
- Tolerance: very good.
- Smoothness: very high fluidity, coating minimises sawing effect.
- Flexibility: very easy to handle and position the knots.
- Knot security: excellent.
- Tensile strength duration: 7 days (50%).
- Absorption time: 28 to 42 days.
- High quality stainless steel needle and swage. Siliconised needle for greater smoothness.
- Indications: soft tissue surgery, when short-term approximation is required. Ideal for skin sutures in wild or difficult animals.
- Sterilised with ethylene oxide.
- Packaging: “race track” format ensuring that the thread will unroll without knotting and with less ‘memory’ effect; packed in an individual aluminium pouch with quick, easy opening system.
- Storage: 5 years. Use immediately after opening.
