Absorbable, MONOFILAMENT, purple, synthetic suture, swaged to a very high quality stainless steel needle. For single use.
- Composition: PDO - poly-p-dioxanone.
- Tolerance: excellent, no wicking effect.
- Smoothness: excellent.
- Flexibility: good.
- Knot security: good.
- Tensile strength duration: 28 days (65%).
- Absorption time: 180 to 220 days.
- High quality stainless steel needle and swage. Siliconised needle for greater smoothness.
- Indications: soft tissue surgery, hollow organ surgery, ophthalmic surgery. Ideal for at-risk patients (animals with diabetes, Cushing’s, cancer, etc.).
- Sterilised with ethylene oxide.
- Packaging: “race track” format ensuring that the suture will unroll without knotting and with less ‘memory’ effect; packed in an individual aluminium pouch with quick, easy opening system.
- Storage: 5 years. Use immediately after opening.
