LACFIL - SWAGED SUTURE NEEDLES

Absorbable, BRAIDED, purple, synthetic suture, swaged to a very high quality stainless steel needle. For single use.
  • Composition: PGLA – copolymer of glycolic acid (90%) and lactic acid (10%).
  • Coating: lactic acid and glycolic acid polymer and calcium stearate.
  • Tolerance: very good.
  • Smoothness: very high fluidity, coating minimises sawing effect.
  • Flexibility: very easy to handle and position the knots.
  • Knot security: excellent.
  • Tensile strength duration: 21 days (50%).
  • Absorption time: 60 to 70 days.
  • High quality stainless steel needle and swage. Siliconised needle for greater smoothness.
  • Indications: multipurpose suture (soft tissue ligation and sutures in general surgery).
  • Sterilised with ethylene oxide.
  • Packaging: “race track” format ensuring that the suture will unroll without knotting and with less ‘memory’ effect; packed in an individual aluminium pouch with quick, easy opening system.
  • Storage: 5 years. Use immediately after opening.
