Synthetic absorbable monofilament suture, purple.
Composition: polydioxanone (PDO).

Sterilised with ethylene oxide.
Tolerance: excellent, no wicking effect.
Smoothness: excellent.
Flexibility: minimal memory.
Knot security: good.
Loss of tensile strength: 30 days (75%).
Complete absorption by hydrolysis: 180 to 240 days.
Lasts under storage.
Indications: soft tissues, uterus and hollow organs. Infected or slow-healing tissues.
Packaging: vacuum-sealed in an aluminium bag in a cardboard box.
Expiration: 3 years if stored in its original packaging, 4 months once opened. Store in a cool, dry place.
